Things I’ve Learned This Week

** Mornings love me WAY more than I love them.

** This week’s heat wave has made being a nudist seem a whole lot more appealing.

** I get more stupid with every other Facebook post I read.

** If tickets were given for driving under the influence of kids, then I would totally lose my license altogether.

** Bite-size cookies are meant to be eaten by the handful.  No?

** I’m (allegedly) the worst mother in the history of mothers for making my children shower every night.

** Rolling Stone evidently likes to make terrorists look like rock stars.

** My knowledge of technology continues to pale in comparison to my 10 year old’s.

** I’ve successfully gotten both my kids into watching HGTV.  So clearly, I win.

** My twins would rather smell like ass than wear deodorant.

** I’m not a fan of how crazy fast the summer seems to be going.

** Despite what I might think, God does not give me more than I can handle.

Thankfully, my teenage son like to look impressive so I don’t have to fight him on the shower thing. Funny enough, it’s the girl I fight with more.

I totally agree with you about the cookie thing.

I won’t get into a rant about that magazine cover here but….. shame on them!!

What did I learn this week? With this heat wave we’ve been having, I would happily marry my air conditioner if it was legal and, you know, not batshit crazy 🙂

  2. I’m not offended by the rolling stone cover- it’s a reminder that evil sometimes comes in a pretty disguise.
I hope the article inside emphasizes that.

& showering? why do i hear “but i showered yesterday” & they are standing in front of me dripping w/sweat? yum….
& summer? where the heck did it go? school starts in 3 weeks & call me crazy but i’m no where near ready to give them up yet 🙁
